Grade III children read a lesson
based on the book ‘The Tiny Seed’ by Eric Carle. This story introduced
the concept that seeds change ad grow into plants when conditions in the
environment including temperature, light, water and soil are
appropriate. The book has beautiful illustrations.
Children worked in
groups to make different textures on drawing sheets wit paint colours.
These sheets were then cut into different shapes of garden creatures and
flowers. After painting the background, the different shapes were glued
on the chart papers. The activity was very interactive and it widened
their imagination.
