Nischay Girls School

"Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it." - Marian Wright Edelman

As a part of our responsibility towards the community Neerja Modi School (Shri Modi Shikshan Sansthan) has started a project called ‘Nischay’ to provide education to girls below the poverty line.

Nischay at present has a strength of 500 students who are given free education and a nutritious mid-day meal. The school is located within the campus of Neerja Modi School.

We believe that it is very important to develop a school community partnership to sustain this programme, if it is to have any long term benefit. In order to promote this view we encourage the staff and parents of Neerja Modi School to interact with Nischay on a regular basis.

Our aim is to strive for not only academic excellence but also provide the student of Nischay with life supporting and vocational skills so as to empower them with the dignity of life.

With the prevailing infrastructure we want to extend this facility to about a thousand girls.

Appeal

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have reached you on previous occasions also, seeking generous contributions for our ‘Nischay’ girls, and I am much pleased to inform that more and more people are now taking keen interest and have come forward to extend a helping hand in enhancing infrastructural facilities for the girls and providing them quality education both academically and vocationally

To make these girls independent and self reliant, we seek your support once again in providing them bicycles, something that will substantially address the mobility concern of these girls. This will help them widen their scope of learning and outreach new horizons as the financial challenges of commuting would no longer impede their growth and development.
I earnestly implore you to come forward and donate wholeheartedly. You can make the donation either in cash or by gifting a new bicycle. These bicycles would then be awarded to the exemplary performers in academics and vocational studies in a felicitation ceremony. The list of outstanding performers is enclosed for your perusal. You may also avail the opportunity of handing over the bicycle yourself.
