A visit to Smriti Van

What is a fish without a river? What is a bird without a tree to rest in? It is nothing. They all live in their habitats to survive. To explore the natural habitats, the students of Grade III G and III J went to Smriti Van on October 14, 2011.

The students observed various birds resting on different trees. They were able to see the pond habitat and were amazed to see various amphibians like the toad, frog, turtle etc. Different kinds of flowers, trees and insects on their way got those pretty smiles on their innocent faces.

It was overall an enthralling experience for the kids where even the concept of habitat was reinforced in the natural surrounding.
