Diwali Celebration

Diwali being a festival of lights had actually lighten up the beautiful faces of the young ones of the Preprimary and Primary children of Neerja Modi School as they all were dressed up for a traditional party wearing lehanga cholis, kurta pyjama, Angrakha and beautifully drapped sarees on October 20 and 21, 2011. Different activites like diwali card making, torans etc were done in the classes which gave them a festive feeling. They were told about the importance of the festival and reason for its celebration. The day ended in happiness and wishing each other “Happy Diwali”.
