Grade I Summer
"... if what
you're doing isn't fun, it needs re-evaluation. When you have fun in it,
chances are you're on the right path."
As the school closes for the Summer Break on May 2, 2011, we have
planned some activities for your child to enhance his / her learning
skills in a fun-filled way.
To encourage your child’s self- esteem and feelings of competence, help
your child discover his/her hidden talents and interests. Keeping the
same objective in mind we have some Holiday Assignments for your child
this summer. There is no compulsion for the child to complete these
assignments. The child can use his/her discretion to do these
assignments partially, fully or not at all.
The assignments are planned under four categories.
1. The first category has some
activities for your child so that you can spend some quality time
2. The second category has a few worksheets (English,
reinforce the topics covered in the class.
3. The third category will help children enhance their creative skills,
where they collect pictures and present information in the form of a
scrap book or a booklet. Picture book and scrap book
samples are uploaded.
4. The fourth category has
assignment will help the child build fluency and develop comprehension
“The process is more
important than the outcome.”
So enjoy the stages in between while accomplishing them.
