Primary Annual Show - Joy of Dance

Neerja Modi School took immense pride in presenting the Primary Annual Show. Choreographers from Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts conducted a 15 days workshop with the children of Grade II to V.

Shiamak Davar is India’s foremost modern dance Choreographer and Director. With the motto “Have feet. Will Dance” the children learnt dances on 15 different songs.

The show began with an orchestra accompanied by a vocal music presentation. The song “Will You be there” was a tribute to Michael Jackson.

The theme of the dance show was “Joy of Dance” with different segments like Sufi, Daring to Dream, Tribute to Michael Jackson, Circus, Seasons Medley, Hip Hop Medley and Party Songs. In these segments children danced to the tunes of Asha, Aashayen, Michael Jackson, Bum Bum Bole, Bawre, Ice–Ice Baby, Way I are, Hadippa and Twist etc...

The children approached the parents to join the mood of the show. Parents, enthusiastically participated in the feet tapping numbers like Hadippa and Twist.

A dance presentation by Nischay Girls on the song Kaun Hoon Mein…. was also a part of the show.

All in all a wonderful show.
