Theater Workshop by Ms. Samta Vij


The most awaited Theatre Workshop commenced for Grade III –C and III – D by Mrs. Samta Vij on 9th September and was culminated on 19th September. The children were quite excited and actually looked forward to the periods when they would go for the day’s workshop. They learnt a few activities adhering to the discipline, concentration and following the given instructions. They went through certain exercises for grooming, like sound rhythm – individual and pair activity, Mirror exercise and Body collage using their hands and without using their hands. They were divided into seven groups, named after the children’s favorite food. Each groups gave two presentations displaying the groups name and different public places by the way of collage. The teacher had to go through the test of guessing these places.

It was great fun watching them demonstrate their learning. They benefited as they learnt to work in co-ordination, team spirit and they were being innovative too. The workshop was wound with a game.
