Forging bonds with the International community at IB

As the school prepares itself for the IB Diploma programme in 2009, a team of 5 teachers attended a 3 day workshop (14 to 16 Sep. 2007) organized by IBO. The workshop held at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai facilitated the teachers with the practices of IB teaching in classrooms. Ms. Sarita Nathawat and Ms. Geeta Bhutani for English A1, Ms Parul Khanna for Biology, Ms. Anjana Bhargava for Physics & Ms. Rama Srivastav for Visual Arts attended the extensive. 3 days IBDP workshop for acquiring specific skills to deal with their subjects in their IB classrooms. Besides the NMS teachers were able to build strong bonds with experienced IB teachers across the world.

With this training these teachers would now begin building up their resources and coursework for successful implementation of IB DP in 2009.

The experience renders the teachers confident & better prepared.
