Students of
Raffles International School (Indonesia) Visit NMS
NMS played host to group
of 11 students, along with their vice Principal Mr. Marihot A Sitorus
and Mr. Manish Gidwani of Raffles International School Indonesian from
September 25, 2007 to October 7, 2007.
The group was taken to various historical sites at Jaipur, Ajmer and
near by places and many lectures were arranged to apprise them of the
rich and diverse Indian heritage and to bring them closer to
understanding our culture. Through workshops like – the Rangoli making,
Safa tying etc. they had the hands on experience at the various
traditional arts of our country.
The students of NMS and RICS, had a very open interaction where by they
had discussion and brainstorming session regarding many binning issues
of global interest.
Also, organised was a friendly basketball match where by the students
played with their hearts out.
The students enthusiastically rendered voluntary service at Nischay
Girls School and the chocolate making activity was an exciting and
thrilling experience.
