SIXTH SPORTS
MEET - 2006
The sixth sports meet of the Neerja Modi School was held on 15-Nov-06 on
the sprawling lush green lawns of the school campus. It was a perfect
sunny day and the right kind of atmosphere. There was excitement all
over the field. The meet got to a flying start with the traditional
torch lighting which was followed by the march past.
There were a number of events for the children of all age groups. The
student’s zeal and enthusiasm as well as the cheering from the side
lines were apparent even to the audience. There was a synchronized,
rhythmic and vigorous demonstration of the aerobic exercise and the
drill set the audience foot tapping and left them gasping.
A number of events including, 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 800 mts, 100
mts hurdles, relay and shuttle race for different age groups attracted
active participation.
All in all it was fun filled day and an extended Children’s Day
Celebration
