Story Enactment Function (Grades I-III)
19th & 20th November, 2003

Picture Gallery # 1 (19/11)  |  Picture Gallery # 2 (20/11)

Neerja Modi School’s Story Enactment Function was spread over two days, November 19 & 20. Each day 8 plays taken from a variety of sources ranging from Indian mythology, Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Aesop’s Fables were presented. It was simply delightful to see young students of Grade I, II and III speaking fluent English with clear diction and remarkable modulation in their voices.

Each section of every class presented an item in this function. These enactments are performed every year to ensure wide spread participation and to familiarize students with children’s literature and mythology.

The harmonious blend of melody and theatre was a treat to be savoured. The function was a resounding success. Beautiful costumes and lovely lighting effects made the show a truly memorable one. Several parents praised the School’s Co-curricular activities.
