Visit of
Students & Teachers from the Crescent School, CANADA
NMS believes in
providing rich and diverse experiences to students by way of interaction
with International students.
To provide such an experience, the school was host to the five students
and two teachers from Crescent School ,Canada. The visitors enjoyed
interacting with the Neerja Modi School students. The topics for the
discussion varied from Sports to Entertainment to global issues
pertaining to save the Environment. It was a highly interactive session.
After taking them on a brief round of the school, the students of Neerja
Modi School presented a short cultural program which included Orchestra,
Ghoomar, Kathak and Kalbeliya dance. One of the students from Canada
played violin for us. They showed interest in the Indian Instruments
particularly the Sitar. Later they visited the Nischay School where the
girls presented them souvenirs made by them.
School hosted a special dinner for them at Chokhi Dhani .They relished
Rajasthani cuisine in the exquisite setup and ambience of a Rajasthani
village at the resort. A yoga session was organized for the visitors
with the school’s yoga instructor. The session seemed quite fulfilling
for their minds. Our students played a friendly basketball match with
the Canadian students .The visitors thoroughly enjoyed their two day
visit to our school.
