Sixth Annual
Concert Of Kangaroo Kids
Sixth Annual Concert of
Kangaroo Kids at Birla Auditorium on Friday, March 02, 2007 at 5:30 p.m.
was an initiative to sensitise both the children and the parents with
the most pressing need of the time; the urgency to preserve nature- our
beautiful and bountiful environment.
As the little angels in the “Enchanted Forest sing dance and role play,
they give us food for thought on the many problems that are ailing our
Mother Earth. Water pollution is making the fishes die as kid 1 says
“yes we learned in school that water pollution causes disease and kills
people too.” Deforestation coupled with poaching has disturbed the food
chain thus turning the tigers to man eaters. It is heart breaking to see
our flora and fauna heading towards annihilation, because of the greed
and negligence of man.
The words of little ones sound convincing “We can make the
difference” as they sing in the grand finale “Heal the world; make it a
better place to live in…….”
Little drops of water make mighty oceans. Let the message given by the
concert motivate us all to do our share whatever we are and wherever we
are in keeping our environ clean, green, peaceful & secure for all.
the birds & bees
the animals and trees
and like the kids sing “Hum honge kaamyaab – we shall overcome.”
