The students were given a warm welcome by the Mayor of Boblingen, Stuttgart, and were also treated to a Jazz Band at the school played in their honor.

Staying with host families and attending the school there, they introduced the tradition, culture and values of India to Germany via various presentations held at the school by Shriya Bhagalia, Prateek Gupta, Aakash Choudhary and Radhika Gupta.
The host for the youngest student Shriya Bhagalia, was Sylvia Erben, who being a journalist, wrote 3 articles in the newspapers in praise of the students and appreciating the Neerja Modi School.

They had the opportunity to visit the Max Milan festival and watch the amazing fireworks show reflecting in the river, the Mercedes Benz Museum, ancient castles with world’s largest wine barrels. They took a trip to Munich as well for a short sight-seeing and shopping tour. On their way, they stopped over at Paris for a short tour to see the Eiffel tower, the Louvre, Disney World and various other monuments.
All in all, the students had a fantastic tour of Germany and Paris, bringing home a lifelong unforgettable experience – thanks to the efforts made by Neerja Modi School, to develop relations with a new country via the student exchange programme.
