Successful
completion of the New Zealand Study tour
14 students along with
the Principal Mrs. Kanak Khanna have returned back to Jaipur safely. The
21 day Study Tour provided them with insight into the New Zealand
curriculum and methodology of teaching. The group visited several
schools namely The Kristin School, Somerville Intermediate School,
Botany Down Senior College, The Host School for the study tour was Point
View School Auckland.
The tour included a 3-day halt at Singapore wherein the group spent a
day at Sentosa, Island, went for the night safari and saw the discovery
centre and underwater world. The experience of the sound of the seas at
the sea coast was a marvel of technology.
At Auckland the sight seeing highlights were the world renouned Sulphur
Geysers at Rotorua, the Auckland museum, the vast virgin beaches, a
historical village Sky tower, Snow planet and Kelly Tailton.
Auckland abounds in recreational centres for children from Skiing,
Surfing, Kayaking, Ice skating, to-go carting and theme parks.
The tour was a perfect amalgam of education and leisure.
