Puppet Making workshop by Anurupa Roy

A ‘Puppet - making’ workshop was arranged for all section for grade VI from the 13th of July to the 17th of July under the auspices of Ms. Anurupa Roy.
The students were taught how to make puppets using fabric, newspaper, sequins, long poles, fevicol, baskets etc. The children were divided into groups which made puppets of different animals like dragons, butterflies, star-fish, Octopuses, birds and flowers.
On the last day of the workshop a grand parade was taken out to loud drum-beats. The children carried their creations on long poles through the grounds of Neerja Modi School. The parade was thoroughly enjoyed by the little cherubs of the Kangaroo-Kids Section and the Primary School.
