International Inter School Cricket Tournament at NMS: A huge Success

Neerja Modi School has a strong Cricket tradition and The Neerja Modi T-20 School World Cup Tournament which commenced on the 14th of July, 2008 was another step towards strengthening this tradition. The tournament was held on the Neerja Modi School Grounds. The teams participating were Indian High School (Dubai), Delhi Public School (Jaipur), Ryan International (Jaipur) and Neerja Modi School (Jaipur). The Tournament was governed by ICC T-20 rules. It was a league cum knock out tournament and each team played three matches.

The finals of the Tournament saw an exciting match between Neerja Modi School and Delhi Public School. DPS won this match by 22 runs. Piyush Gajodia was the man of the match and Harvinder Singh was declared the man of the Series. This was just the beginning and we aspire to conduct the Neerja Modi T-20 School World Cup Tournament in a bigger and better way, year after year.
