NMS Hostelers visit Amber Fort

The NMS residents were looking forward to their outing to Amer for the ‘Light & Sound’ Show. We reached there and with plenty of time on hand, we walked form the parking lot through the day lake bed. From the venue we could see the restoration work which had been carried out on the old fort and its ramparts. The view around was quite mesmerizing.
The show started at dusk. The soft melody of ‘Kesariya’ could be heard in the background. It lulled us enough to relax and enjoy stories of Rajput valour and the merging of smaller and minor territories of the Rajputana region leading to the beautiful state of Rajasthan with its capital being Jaipur. How time flew no one noticed.
