The Annual
Prize giving of the Primary Section of the Neerja Modi School
The annual prize giving
of the Primary School got off to a great start. More than 500 students
from Grade I to III participated in the event on February 01, 2008 at
the Birla Auditorium.
The grand evening started with the prize distribution. Students were
awarded for their excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
The evening was a perfect blend of modern and the contemporary music.
The students danced on all time favourites like the sound of Music,
Grease, Jesus Christ superstar, etc. Some of the dances were based on
icons like the break dance of Michael Jackson, Madonna and Queen whereas
some were on animated characters like the Hanuman, Lion King and Ganesha.
All the dances were choreographed by Manmeet, Bhumika and Sanjay from
“The Dance Worx”,
The children showcased their talent and took everyone by surprise. All
the students had undergone a month long dance workshop conducted by The
Dance Worx.
