Kangaroo Kids celebrates 8th Annual Sports Day

The 8th Annual Sports Meet of ‘Kangaroo Kids’ was commenced on Saturday, December 13th, 2008, at the School Campus. The day was marked by exuberance of the students from Play group to Sr. Kg who put up a fantastic performance with the different ‘Olympic’ races. There were various other events which ensured full participation by students.

Significant enough the day began with a dance performance by the ting tots on a song ‘Locomotion’. After welcoming the Chief guest Mrs. Kanak Khanna who declared the sports meet open, Later followed by a torch bearing and oath taking ceremony of true sportsmanship by Sr. Kg. children. Finally the meet concluded with ‘Parent Race’ and Prize distribution to the winners of the various events. Sports meet is not only a awaited event in the School Calendar, but sports in hailed in the school as an instrument for the development of a healthy body and mind.
