Kangaroo Kids
Celebrates 7th Sports Day
Kangaroo Kids section of
Neerja Modi School celebrated their 7th Annual Sports Day on Saturday,
15th December, 2007. The meet was declared open by Poornawatee Permalloo
after the ceremonial torch bearing and oath taking ceremonies. The theme
of the sports day was “On the Move” based on various modes of transport.
Children learnt about numerous modes of transports from different eras
as they practiced and trained for this day.
Approximately 600 Children
participated in different innovative races in which they were required
to complete tasks relevant to their respective mode of transport before
reaching the finishing line.
A remarkable display of harmony and discipline was presented by the
little ones through the Drill and March Past.
Cheering parents, colourful props and music on the Neerja Modi grounds
made the whole atmosphere vibrant.
The prize distribution was a special event where the medals were given
by the Nischay Students.
The day was wrapped up with exciting races which were specially
organized for the parents of the children. Parents actively participated
in the races and the day ended on a joyous note.
