Function
The Seventh annual Prize
Giving Ceremony of Neerja Modi School was held on 21st December at the
sprawling grounds of the school. Over 500 students participated in the
function by giving an enchanting performance.
The student achievers were felicitated by certificates and cups.
Deepika Modi of Grade XI was awarded the prestigious Vimla Gupta Gold
Medal for the Best Girl Student for All Round Excellence. The school
has instituted a new award this year in the fond memory of Shri Anshoo
S. Gupta. This prestigious Gold Medal award has been awarded to PRAWAL
AGARWAL for being the most promising Science Student of the School. The
cultural programme comprised of two orchestras one on Western theme and
the other an ethnic one. There was an enthralling dance sequence
depicting well known themes from the past and present which have eternal
significance.
This dance sequence was Choreographed by Mr. Murli Nair of the
famous Mallika Sarabhai’s Darpana Academy. Over 60 students of
Nischay presented a dance and song sequence. The show concluded with the
overwhelming musical – Lion King produced and directed by Mr.
Vishal Asrani from Mumbai.
