Annual Athletic Meet (Grade IV-IX)
5th December, 2003

Students of Grade IV to IX participated in Athletic Events ranging from Sprints (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m & even 1500m) Hurdles, Relay to Jumps and Throws (Shot putt, Javelin).

To ensure wide participation they had been divided into 3 groups. Viz.

            Sub-Junior        -           Grade IV & V
            Junior               -           Grade VI & VII
            Senior              -           Grade VIII & IX

This resulted in every willing child getting an opportunity to participate in one or the other events. The total number of events were a staggering 41 on a single day, followed by 9 events of Jumps, Shot putt and Javelin Throws. About 72 sets of gold, silver and bronze medals were won by about 200 students.
The girls showed as much promise and stamina as the boys and keenly contested in the 800m sprint.
The cross country this year was held at the 4 and a half km track of Central Park, C-Scheme on Sunday, November 30, 2003. The pleasant morning air and the Central Park locale made the event truly a memorable one.

The overall winner of the 2003 Athletic meet was Neer House with 235 points. The Runner-up was Vayu House with 201 points and Agni House came a close third with 197 points.
