Annual Sports Day

Kangaroo Kids celebrated
their 2nd Annual Sports Day on 15th December, 2002. The theme
of the Sports Day was "The Animal Parade" where animals from all over
the world visited the playfields of the School. The children dressed up
as animals participated in various races which were relays and obstacle
courses or which required children to perform simple tasks. The
reindeers all the way from the Arctic Zone decorated presents for Santa,
right there on the tracks, while the three little pigs collected
building material like bay, wood and bricks to build their own houses.
The programme also had
highlights like the drill performed by 5 year olds (138 children of Sr.
KG) and a daring gymnastic display where children jumped through a ring
of fire. The parents were not far behind as they enthusiastically
participated in the parent races.
A truly enthralling
performance by all who participated with honesty and the will to win,
making the show a success!
