An English
teacher from UK
The NMS Teaching faculty was immensely glad to have Mr. Charles Davies
from England. We are lucky to have such diverse and varied talent from
different countries. Mr. Davies was in the school for a month and
imported learning in English to students of Grade VII and VIII. The
pupils were richer in knowledge as they learnt a lot from their teacher.
Mr. Charles Davies is from Oundle School, Peterborough, U.K., a school
where they have residential students. He was happy to be housed in the
school hostel and loved he time that he could spend with the students
outside school hours. He found his teaching experience refreshingly
different. The students were curious and interested in their teacher and
the country he came from Mr. Davies was happy to note that inspite of
English being a second language the students were well versed and eager
to learn a foreign language. Children all over the world are loving and
affectionate and this is what Mr. Davies found about the Neerja Modi
School.
The short stay in NMS provided an opportunity to the young teacher to
know India better. Incidentally this was his first visit to the country.
Mr. Davies was able to visit some historic sites in India. He carried
home unforgettable and sweet memories of the school. He expressed the
hope that he will be able to renew his acquaintance with his students
and will be given an opportunity to visit the school again.
