IB Preauthorization Visit

Mr. Stephen Keegan, Assistant Regional Manager, International Baccalaureate Asia Pacific Office, Singapore, was on a day’s Pre Authorization visit to NMS on 31 Aug, 2007.

Assessing the school’s feasibility to introduce the IB Diploma. He also gave some valuable advice to the IB teachers to conduct the IB Diploma Programme successfully.

Mr. Stephen Keegan had an interesting interaction with the students of grade IX. He satisfied the students by answering all their queries regarding taking up an IB Diploma course, particularly higher study opportunities available after the IB Diploma in India and abroad. He also discussed the unique elements of IB Diploma programme-Creativity, Action & Service (CAS), TOK (Theory of knowledge) and Extended Essay with the students.

He was impressed by the close affinity of the school’s philosophy and current programme of service to community and international programme with IB mission and felt confident that NMS would be able to implement the IB Diploma Programme successfully.
