Australians visit NMS
Ms. Amber and Ms. Allie,
of grade 10 of St. Hilda School, Australia attended NMS through a
student exchange programme for a month.
They were awed by the wide range of subjects being taught, as well as
the varied techniques used by the teachers to impart education. Visits
to various historical places in Jaipur and Agra enabled them to
understand our rich cultural heritage.
They got an opportunity to view the traditions and customs prevalent in
India as they were hosted with the families of Ms. Meghna Gohil and Ms.
Tanvi Goswami - students of NMS. The two students compared the
approaches towards life in the two countries. They appreciated the hard
working and yet the joyous demeanor of the Indians.
All in all, it was an enriching and a novel experience for the
teenagers. They left with gratitude and appreciation for all the people
who made their stay possible a memorable and with a promise to
strengthen their bonds with the new found friends.
