NMS celebrates World Earth Day

The world earth day was initiated on April 22, 1970, the first day of spring, by the founder John Mc Connell.

On Earth day we globally celebrate the wonder of life on our planet. A day, when hearts and minds can join together with the thoughts of harmony and Earth’s rejuvenation. Just as a single prayer cannot be significant, how much more so when hundreds, thousands and millions of people throughout the world join in peaceful thoughts and prayers to nurture neighbour and nature. Our school was no exception to this as various events like poster making, slogan writing and event related worksheets were planned for the children. A special assembly was held to create awareness in the minds and to deepen reverence and care for life on our planet.
