Neerja Modi School is a co-educational, senior secondary,
English medium day school with an enrollment of approximately 2450 students. Our
school is located in the historical city of Jaipur in the State of Rajasthan, in
India.
As a global institute, our aim is to create a learning environment that is
challenging, diverse and enabling. NMS’ extensive International Program is
fundamental to the school’s mission of creating global citizens. Through a
combination of collaborative projects and teacher and student exchanges, NMS
aims to provide its students (as well as the students of its partner schools)
with an opportunity to better understand the world in which they live. By
enabling students to learn about different cultures, values and educational
systems, NMS’s International Program fosters in our students a broad, tolerant
and inquisitive mindset. We try to teach the students the interconnectivity of
local actions and global effects in an increasingly unified world.
Why India?
From the eternal snows of the Himalayas to the cultivated peninsula of far
South, from the deserts of the West to the humid deltas of the East, from the
dry heat and cold of the Central Plateau to the cool forest foothills, India is
a geographically and culturally diverse country. However, despite its numerous
styles, culinary traditions, manners and habits the India has a strong sense of
unity, harmony and peace.
This combination of unity and diversity has resulted in an open culture that is
extremely welcoming of visitors. India is also a secular country, thus making it
very easy for foreign students to adjust to the Indian lifestyle. The wide
variety of food and activities available makes it an ideal place for an
educational exchange/visitors.
