Activities
Academic and Nonacademic activities provide
ample opportunities to the students to realize their inherent potential in
the way best suited to them.
Year round specialized coaching is provided in Athletics, Basketball,
Swimming, Cricket, Football, Table Tennis and Tennis.
Archery is a recent addition. The list of games enjoyed by NMS students keeps increasing. Young archers are supervised by
qualified and experienced instructor. The most familiar form for tournaments
is the Target practice and soon they will be participating in National and
Inter-National Archery events.
Our students regularly participate in Inter House and Inter School Sports
Competitions. The school holds a brilliant record in Inter school Swimming,
Cricket, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis and Athletics at the State and
National level championships.
 Adventure Sports: With stress on developing physical strength and
fitness and develop their ability to face challenges the school organizes
Regular Camps for Para sailing and Trekking and adventure tours. Both these
activities
Co curricular Events: Inter house & Inter school English Debate and
Declamation, Hindi Debate and Declamation (prose and poetry), Quizzes, Short
Plays, Creative Writing and many more.
Performing Arts form an integral of the school’s day and boarding
life. The emphasis is on exploring and developing each individual’s talent
and an understanding of musical and theatrical traditions.

Visual Arts faculty emphasizes on developing skills and understanding
of all genres of art forms-painting, ceramics, pottery and sculpture,

Community Service Program: Our students volunteer for community
service programs by associating with the local community through various
services to institutions for deprived sections, disabled people and concern
for historical heritage and social environmental issues. All this prepares
our students’ character to take up social responsibility.
